You can use keyword research tools such as Google Keyword Tool and Wordtracker to help identify keywords and see what the traffic volume for them is. These tools can help you find the best keywords for your Web site and help you decide which ones to target.

2. Title Tag

The title tag of your Web site is one of the most critical tags to be considered when search engines are deciding the best keywords to target.

In the title tag, include the most important keywords or keyword phrases, but make sure it reads naturally. The tag should not be more than 68 characters. Another tactic to include keywords in your title tag is to form long-tailed keywords, which add up to more traffic when the term is searched for.

3. Meta Tags

In your meta tags, include keywords that you've found during your keyword research. These tags are used by search engines to get a description of your site, as well as for indexing information.
